Growth Mindset: Attitude Over Intelligence

Positivity Is Key

I choose to do a Growth Mindset leaning over  Why attitude is more important than intelligence. This article was wrote by Travis Bradberry, published by Entrepreneur.com.
In the article Travis mentioned  several key points to why attitude can have a large impact on intelligence as well as improving the growth mindset. I placed each key point in bold below with my favorite line Travis wrote for each key point.

Don't Stay Helpless

"People with a growth mindset don’t feel helpless because they know that in order to be successful, you need to be willing to fail hard and then bounce right back."
Be Passionate
"What you lack in talent, you can make up for in passion."

Take Action

"Taking action turns all your worry and concern about failure into positive, focused energy."
Go the extra mile
"Bruce explained it this way: “Quit and you might as well be dead. If you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it’ll spread over into the rest of your life. It’ll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there; you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.”
Expect Results
"Expecting results keeps you motivated and feeds the cycle of empowerment."

Be Flexible

"People with an empowerment, growth-oriented mindset embrace adversity as a mean for improvement."

Don't complain wen things don't go your way

"A growth mindset looks for opportunity in everything, so there's no room for complaints."

I have learned that even the littlest of an attitude change can make a difference. There is always a positive side you just have to find it. Every journey starts with one step. I had already learned from past experiences that if you find a positive to the situation you will find yourself at ease. When i find myself getting stressed, having a worth day, getting gin trouble I stop and think for a moment. I think about the situation, then find something that is positive about it. I have truly learned you can always find the positivity you just have to look and think hard enough. If you focus more on the positive it leave little room left for the negative. I am pleased that i choose this growth mindset challenge to remind my self to always look for the up side, don't complain (be grateful for the good in your life), its alright to go with the flow sometimes, stay motivated by expecting results, push yourself by going the extra mile (or miles), passion can go a long way, and failure comes with success!
